General Objective: To Create a Consortium (Association, Partnership or Union) of Progressive and Involved Mayors in The Little Egypt Area... and to Provide an Effective Means of Those Individuals Effectively "Networking" with One Another on an Ongoing Basis. With Today's Internet Capabilities for Communication and Dynamic Interaction... a Conscientious Group of Intentional Mayors could have a Powerful Influence on The Development and Growth of The Little Egypt Area for Tourism and Historic Preservation. Essentially... Every Mayor in The Little Egypt Area Could take Part in This Endeavor... and Help bring Interest and Positive Commerce to Their Towns... and Community. With a United Little Egypt... and an Organization like The Consortium of Mayors to Contribute to Its Direction and Growth... a Great Deal More could get done as a Collective and Organized Group... than as Individual Entities. With such an Organized "Presence"... The State Would not only "have" to take Notice and Give Us More Recognition and Assistance... They Would "want" to! At a later date... I will be Contacting The Various Mayors in The Little Egypt Area... and Sharing this Concept with Them. All it takes is a Few to get it Started. If per chance... a Mayor "out there" would like to Get The Ball Rolling Sooner... then I Am Ready to Go with It. The Sooner The Better! :) Suggestion, Comments and Inspiration Welcomed!
